it is illegal to close the Egged bus system on Shabbat, people, especially those that are not Jewish, still need to be able to get around the country, for economy purposes

and the halacha is in line with this, those that shut down the systems on shabbat don;t know their halacha correctly and are stuck following halachot that were meant specifically for the medieval rashi era, and not today's economy of survival era, when you have to eat, you have to ride the bus to get to food, this is a jewish state.
